3 Graces Dressage
A tribute to harmony – where well-being is united with a top performance

In a city that is regarded as the vibrant centre of American equestrian sport, a private dressage centre can be found. The “3 Graces Dressage” is not only a training facility for elite horses, but is also a retreat that focuses on well-being, right in the middle of Wellington. With a clear vision and a focus on perfection, Carol Cohen-Hodess and her family have created an oasis here that is second to none – and in Röwer & Rüb found a partner who made this vision come true with technical precision and aesthetic sensitivity.
"This facility was my dream from the very beginning. I wanted to create a space that does justice to both the physical and emotional needs of my horses", explains Carol Cohen-Hodess, who has dedicated her heart and soul to horses for around 25 years. The concept of providing their animals with an environment that provides both peace and inspiration was reflected in every detail during planning.
"The beauty of the products and their functionality were decisive factors in our decision."
Light, air and easiness
The architecture of "3 Graces Dressage" reflects this philosophy. The stables are flooded with light and cleverly arranged to ensure the best possible air circulation – a decisive factor in Florida's hot climate. Spacious stalls with Bremen fronts in deep espresso brown combine functionality with luxury. Each horse stall features an innovative drinking trough that monitors the horse’s water consumption. The R&AIR Care water misting system, developed and installed by Röwer & Rüb, creates an optimum stable environment by regulating the humidity and keeping annoying insects away in a natural manner without having to resort to unhealthy chemicals, which is an obvious benefit to both humans and animals.

A home for the soul
However, not only the technical features are impressive, as the layout of the facility is based on the principle of providing a "tranquil place” for the horses. "I was inspired by the philosophy of the British trainer and dressage rider Carl Hester and it was important to me to separate the stalls from the hustle and bustle of the training, washing and grooming areas," Carol Cohen-Hodess explains. "The stalls are their home, their safe retreat." This clarity in the design is also expressed in the airy connections between the stables and riding areas – a harmonious flow that makes daily life easier and keeps the horses calm at the same time.
A clear vision with an eye to the future
The dressage centre was also built to make a sporting vision come true – to support Rebecca Cohen, the daughter of the family and passionate young dressage rider, on her way to the upper echelons of the international equestrian scene. It all began when Rebecca was just three years old and the family happened to meet Lendon Grey, the American dressage rider. As a result of this chance encounter Rebecca discovered her passion and is now regarded as talented equestrian whose path to the top levels is paved with success. "Our facility is more than just a training centre," Carol Cohen-Hodess adds. "It is the expression of our love for our horses and our aim to provide them with the best possible support and care."

In Röwer & Rüb the family found a partner who not only impressed them with their high-quality materials, but also with a deep understanding of horse-friendly design. In addition to the horse stalls, all the partition walls, doors and barn doors and the high-quality bamboo panel elements are supplied by the traditional company based in Lower Saxony. Carol Cohen-Hodess highlights that "The beauty of the products and their functionality were decisive factors in our decision."
Today, "3 Graces Dressage" is not only a dream come true for horses and their riders, but also a place of inspiration.
