A new breeding stable offering uncompromising flexibility

Bachl Stallion Station

At the Bachl Stallion Station in Postmünster, Lower Bavaria, horse management is more than a profession – it is a family tradition now in its fifth generation. Around 100 horses are entrusted to Tobias Bachl and his team, including broodmares, stallions, and sport horses. Whether in breeding, training or daily care, the well-being of the horse is the central focus of this long-established operation.

“Our horses always come first,” emphasises Tobias Bachl. This means far more than simply providing spacious boxes. It is about the overall environment: tranquillity, light, fresh air, efficient workflows and harmonious daily routines.

Flexible partitions for ever-changing requirements

Röwer & Rüb has supported the family business as a trusted partner since the first conversions over 25 years ago. The most recent joint project is a new breeding stable, perfectly tailored – down to the smallest detail – to the needs of both humans and horses. At its core are the Verden fronts with flexible partitions that can be adjusted quickly and easily.

“We can shift the partitions partially and adapt the box sizes – from an individual broodmare to a youngstock group. In winter we use the stable differently than in summer. This flexibility is a major benefit for me. That’s why I am very satisfied,” says Bachl.

A custom-made examination area as the highlight of the stable

In addition to the boxes, Röwer & Rüb supplied the wash and grooming areas, stable windows, doors and gates – designed with precision, highly durable and featuring a premium galvanised finish. A special highlight is the custom-built examination stand, used daily during the breeding season for monitoring the broodmares.

“We are simply convinced by the quality. This cooperation was a positive and constructive partnership from start to finish,” reflects Tobias Bachl. A collaboration at eye level – defined by experience, trust and a shared commitment to making horse management better every single day.
