Röwer & Rüb Aquatrainer

Exercise your horses in water in a joint-gentle manner

Röwer & Rüb acquired Activomed GmbH in 2018 with the aim of working together to drive further development in the field of equestrian health forward. In the equestrian world Activomed is known both as a pioneer of hydrotherapy and in the field of magnetic field therapy. The Aqualine products were developed and optimised by the company over many years and incorporated the expertise and experience of partner veterinarians and top riders. In 2022 the core product Aquatrainer was transferred to Röwer & Rüb in order to make optimum use of its existing competencies in capital goods and extensive projects in the fields of handling, service and further development. As with all Röwer & Rüb products, the Aquatrainer focuses on the safety of horses and their owners and riders as well as easy handling without compromising on appearance or functionality.

In its elegant, slim form and with a length of 4.20 m, the Aquatrainer blends harmoniously into any stable facility – whether in small boarding stables or in a state-of-the-art riding facility. Horses do not only benefit from gentle and managed exercise in the water after an injury. The Röwer & Rüb Aquatrainer is used almost every day by Andrea Engeler-Bading at the Fehmbusch therapy station.

„The Aquatrainer is an integral part of our therapeutic treatments, both for gentle recuperation after injury and illness and for training purposes.“

The Aquatrainer is also ideal for bringing variety and fun into the horses' daily training routine: “You can tell the horses are enjoying themselves and having fun while exercising. Since the speed, water depth and temperature can be adjusted, the Aquatrainer can be optimally modified to suit the needs of the individual horses at any time. This keeps training exciting and varied," explains Sebastian Apmann, Sales Manager Röwer & Rüb, when describing the benefits of the device. The Aquatrainer also scores points in terms of sustainability and resource conservation, as the water is filtered and reused.
