Sport and breeding at the foot of Zugspitze mountain

A mountain panorama that invites you to dream and one of the most beautiful wellness resorts in the Tyrol region line the surroundings of a unique equestrian facility. Here, at the foot of Zugspitze mountain, Tina Künstner-Mantl breeds and trains American Quarter Horses.
Since the age of four, horses have been one of the most important things in Tina Künstner-Mantl's life. She has already achieved success in reining around the globe in the western saddle, including the title of world champion. She no longer travels to tournaments every week, but the Tyrolean's life is still far from a quiet one: Together with her family, she manages the wellness and sports hotel Mohr life resort.
For 15 years now, Künstner-Mantl has been running her own riding facility within walking distance of the entrance to the Mohr life resort, which focuses in particular on breeding American Quarter Horses. JACPOINT Quarters” is located in the middle of the Tyrolean Alps, and so part of the slope had to be excavated to make room for this unique lifelong dream. The breeding and training facility now blends effortlessly into the landscape. The special appearance of the facility also contributes to this: In collaboration with Röwer & Rüb, Künstner-Mantl has focused on the use of many wood elements. The result is a building that visually radiates warmth and invites one to enter - a homage to the Austrian national identity.

The feeling of well-being, which is conveyed at first glance, continues when looking down the stable aisles. Spacious, bright stalls provide a home from home for every horse that lives here. The hinged partition walls offer the opportunity for social contact at all times; spacious paddocks ensure relaxing hours in the fresh air. “Relaxed, fit animals that are healthy and enjoy their work: That's the most important thing for me,” says the passionate rider herself.
The latest addition to the facility is a new horse walker. In close cooperation with Röwer & Rüb customer consultant Wolfgang Szedenik, a horse walker with an indoor riding arena and adjoining covered paddocks was created.
"Quality, aesthetics and horse-friendliness are really important to us, that's why it was only natural for us to choose Röwer & Rüb for this project."
"This solution is ideal for our climate and weather conditions," says Tina Künstner-Mantl. "In combination with our 33 x 66-meter indoor riding arena, it enables us to maintain a constant level of training throughout the year. Wolfgang Szedenik is a horse owner himself and understands the challenges of everyday stable life. I was therefore very pleased with his advice." The new horse walker is a real "blessing for the horses": Thanks to the large radius, everything is calm and relaxed.
Horses are a family affair at Künstner-Mantl: Her husband Klaus Mantl used to accompany her to competitions as a coach, but now Tina Künstner-Mantl's son has taken a liking to riding himself and spends a lot of time in the saddle. The riding facility at the foot of Zugspitze mountain offers the ideal conditions for this - because the former reining world champion and Röwer & Rüb have a passion for horses and a love of detail in common.
